OVERCOMING AND MANAGING ANXIETY & DEPRESSIONOVERCOMING ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION IS POSSIBLE Anxiety is when we are 'living' in the future. When we don't know what is coming and we worry extensively about it. Anxiety is not only caused when we worry about what the future may hold, but also when we don't have the confidence to handle whatever will come our way. Depression is when we are 'living' in the past. When we look back instead of looking forward. It's when we are unable to leave the past but remain there. We can certainly learn from our past, but we should only look back at the good parts. Looking back at what we have lost, what we did wrong, what we left behind brings more depression. I used to suffer from anxiety attacks. They were crippling. At one stage I truly believed I would die and ended up in hospital. I no longer have anxiety, and in fact, I worry very little about much at all. To help overcome both Anxiety and Depression, it's crucial that we live in the present. The peace and freedom in the mind and soul that comes with living in the present with hope and confidence is truly life changing.
